Description
The main barn at Eastington Farm, located 30 meters east of the farmhouse, is a barn that likely dates from the late 17th century. It features rubble stone walls and stone slate roofs. The lower range on the north side has opposed cart entrances, with the entrance on the west side covered by a lean-to extension. There is a loft door in the gable wall, and the roof is constructed in a tie and collar beam form. The main range to the south, which is at right angles to the north range, has a lower section at the west end that still shows remnants of a dormer. The higher range to the east also has opposed cart entrances, and its south wall is buttressed. This barn is a property of the National Trust.
