Description
The stable block located 100 meters north-west of Moor Crichel House dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century, with later alterations in the 19th century. It features Flemish bond brickwork and slate roofs. The structure is a large complex that includes stabling, carriage houses, and other associated functions arranged around a central courtyard. It consists of two and three storeys, with slightly taller square towers at each corner and above the central gateway in the south range. The windows vary in size, primarily consisting of sash windows, but also include some casements. Notable features include Venetian windows and many doors and windows with elliptical heads. To the west, there is a shaped gable, which is believed to be a later addition.
