SY 89 NW BERE REGIS ROKE ROAD, SOUTH-WEST SIDE

1/21 Barn at Roke Farm, 30 m 20/11/59 south of the house, including attached granary/cartshed on south

Barn. C18. Brick walls. C20 tiled roof, replacing thatch. Elevation to road has projecting gabled cart porch, with weatherboarded gable. Front wall buttressed. Some triangular dormers in roof. Open lean-to on left of porch, with slate roof, on timber posts. Roof structure renewed c1970. Attached to barn on south, a cart shed with granary over - probably early C19. Brick end wall, slate roof. Upper part of front wall weatherboarded, lower part open, with timber posts. RCHM Monument 44.
