Description
The Royal Oak Inn is an attached public house dating from the late 18th century, with 19th-century window features. It has walls made of ashlar and rubble stone, topped with a slate roof that has stone gable coping on the right side. The building is two storeys high and has approximately seven windows, which are sashes with flush wooden frames and gauged stone arches above. There are two bow windows on the right side, featuring original stone bases and 20th-century canted bays above. The windows have glazing bars and hipped slate roofs. The doors include a 20th-century garage door on the left, a two-leaf plank door also from the 20th century on the left, and a right-of-centre wooden door with nine glass panels, which is also from the 20th century.
