Description

This is a milestone located 175 metres south-south-east of Giant View in Cerne Abbas, dating from the early 19th century. It is made of stone and has a round-headed shape, painted white. The inscription on the milestone, painted in black, reads 'DORCHESTER 8 SHERBORNE 11'.
