Description
The building is a detached stable located 80 metres northeast of Galton Farmhouse, dating from around 1840. It features brick walls constructed in English bond and a slate roof with gable ends. Originally a single storey, it was raised to two storeys in the 19th century. The stable has three fixed windows on the ground floor and three plank loft doors above. There are also three plank stable doors, each with cambered brick arches above. This stable is part of a model farm group of buildings, although the group is not complete today.
