Description
The stable block, located 40 metres south of St Peter's Church, is likely from the 16th century. It is constructed of coursed, squared rubble and features a gable-ended, tiled roof with a chamfered eaves cornice. The building has original two-stage buttresses with weathered offsets and chamfered rectangular loops. On the east side, there are some reset square-headed, three-light stone mullioned windows with labels. The roof structure has not been fully investigated but may be original.
