Description

No. 40 is a house from the mid-19th century, constructed of coursed, squared rubble with a tiled roof and end brick stacks. The building stands two storeys high and features a three-window range. The windows are two and three-light casements with horizontal glazing bars. There is a tent porch that appears to have been reset on a 20th-century structure. The openings are set under segmental stone heads. This house is included for its group value.
