Description
The outhouse attached to the south-west end of Digby Estate Nos 275 and 276 is a structure dating from the late 18th century to the early to mid 19th century. It is built of stone rubble and features a plaintile roof with a half-hipped gable at the south-west end. The south-west gable end wall includes pigeon-holes, and along the road side, there are two ledged loft doors as well as a ledged Dutch door on the ground floor. This outhouse is part of a group that includes Beech Cottage, the garden gate, the north-west boundary wall to Beech Cottage, Castle Farmhouse, the boundary wall to the south-west of Castle Farmhouse, Digby Estate Nos 9 and 10, and other associated outbuildings.
