Description
Castle Farmhouse is a stone house with a plain tile roof, dating from the late 18th century to the early to mid 19th century. The entrance front, which faces northeast, features three windows with three-light casements that have segmental brick arches. Originally, these windows had lead glazing, but they have since been replaced with wood glazing. There is a segmental headed doorway located between the second and third windows from the left, which has a modern door. The return wall along Oborne Road displays irregular fenestration, and there is a vehicular entry at the right end of the building. Castle Farmhouse is listed as Grade II for its group value with several nearby structures, including Beech Cottage, boundary walls, and outbuildings associated with the Digby Estate.
