Description
The outhouse and adjoining walls, located approximately 10 meters north of Lambert Farmhouse, date from the mid to late 19th century. They are constructed of plastered cob on rubble footings, with slate roofs covering both the outhouse and the walls. The narrow, gable-ended two-storey outhouse faces south into the courtyard. A high wall extends south from the left corner to the farmhouse, forming the west side of the courtyard, while another high wall from the rear right (east) creates the parlour block. Archways are present on all three sides. The outhouse features a door to a WC at the left end, two low wide openings, and a first-floor loading bay to the left of center. The rear is open at ground level, indicating it may have been used for watering stock, as troughs are provided and a large well exists in the courtyard. This structure is included for its group value with the farmhouse.
