Description

Clare Cottage and the adjoining cottage to the west are a pair of semi-detached cottages built in the early to mid-19th century. The cottages are constructed from coursed squared rubble, and have gable-ended roofs tiled, with brick stacks at each end. The arrangement is of two storeys and a 4-window front. The windows are sash windows with glazing bars. A 20th-century glazed door is located in the second bay from the right. The cottages are included on the list for their group value.
