Description

Sandways is a group of five cottages, now used as three separate dwellings, likely dating from the late 18th century. The cottages are constructed from coursed rubble and have tiled gable-ended roofs, with the exception of number 3, which has an asbestos slate roof. Brick stacks are situated at the ends of the cottages. The two easternmost cottages have sash windows with glazing bars on the ground floor. The remaining windows are primarily casements with horizontal glazing bars. The doors are plain plank.
