Description

This pair of semi-detached cottages, located 15 meters northeast of Old School Cottage, dates from the early to mid 19th century. The cottages feature Flemish-bond brickwork with flared headers and a slate roof, which is topped with two brick stacks, each having four clustered flues arranged symmetrically around the center. The design is symmetrical, with one and a half storeys and three bays arranged in a 1:1:1 pattern. The central bay is gabled, and the windows are 2 and 3-light cast-iron casements with diamond-pane lights, some of which have hood moulds. The left side of the ground floor includes a 20th-century picture window, while the outer bays have plank doors.
