CHESELBOURNE LYSCOMBE Revetment walling of fish-hatch 25 metres north north-west of Lyscombe Cottage

GV II Walling of fish-hatch, curving at south (downstream) end to narrow hatchway. Date uncertain. Coursed rubble stone walls, 0.5 metres high and 5 metres long each side, with an internal width between these revetting walls of 2.5 metres. Hatchway is slightly broken down on the south west; the exit without proper jambs is 0.5 metres in width.
