Description
The Bell Buildings at Sherborne School, built in 1835, are designed in the Tudor style and feature a gabled porch wing. The building stands three storeys tall and has three window bays. The ground floor is constructed of ashlar, while the upper floors are made of rubble. The windows on the first and second floors are square-headed and consist of two lights. On the ground floor, there is one transomed window with two lights and another window to the right with four lights. The gabled porch is located in the southernmost window bay. At the south end, there is a very narrow gabled window bay that includes a single light window above and below a tablet over the entrance. The Bell Buildings are part of a group of structures surrounding the greens immediately to the north of the Abbey Church of St Mary.
