Description
The Cross Keys Hotel, located at 88 Cheap Street, is a three-storey building constructed in brick, showcasing Georgian architectural style from the late 18th century to the early to mid 19th century. The façade features three window bays and is topped with a slate roof. The second floor has three sash windows, each with four panes, while the first floor includes two four-pane sash windows and one three-pane sash window. The ground floor has been modernized with ashlar stone and includes two splayed windows, a central doorway, and an additional doorway at the left end. An inn sign depicting crossed keys is displayed on a well-crafted wrought iron bracket.
