Description

These three attached cottages date from the mid-19th century and are positioned at right angles to the Higher Lewell Farmhouse. They feature rubble stone walls with brick quoins and have a combination of hipped and gabled slate roofs. A brick stack is located on the ridge, slightly right of center. The cottages are two stories tall and display irregular fenestration, with 2-light cast iron casements that have block arches above them, typical of the 19th century. The entrances consist of plank doors, each with a brick arch over.
