Description
The Old Parsonage is an 18th-century building located on the north side of Tout Hill. It has two storeys and features two windows on its façade, which faces north-west. The roof is made of old tiles and includes a half hip and a lean-to annexe at the right end. The front is rendered.
On the ground floor at the left end, there is a shallow bay with a large sash window that retains its glazing bars. Above this bay, there is a small three-light canted bay window. To the right on the ground floor, there is a door and a two-light window, both covered by a veranda that has a coved slate roof. The entrance features a six-panelled double door, with a two-panes wide sash window above it.
The south-east front of the house is constructed of stone rubble and includes three two-light casements above and two four-panes wide sash windows below. Steps lead down to the doorway at the left end. This building was formerly the residence of the Curate of Motcombe.
