Description
The Kings Arms Public House is a building dating from the 18th century to the early 19th century, located on Bleke Street. It is two storeys high and features two windows. The roof is modern and covered with tiles, while the front is made of stone rubble. The building has two-light casement windows, with the upper windows having small panes. There is a double wooden boarded door set in a frame. At the south-west end, there is a later 19th-century building that is part of the same block as the British Legion Club. This later building is also two storeys high, has two windows, and features a slate gabled roof with an ashlar front. The glazing bars are missing, and the fenestration below has been altered. There is a large carriage entrance on the right side. The Kings Arms is listed as Grade II due to its 18th and 19th-century work at the northern end.
