Description
Nos 11, 12, 13, and 14 on West Street are early 19th-century houses built in a Regency style. They feature rendered walls and slate roofs, and are two storeys high with a plat band at the first floor level. No 11 has a door with raised panels and a square fanlight that includes glazing bars. On the ground floor, there is one double hung sash window with glazing bars, and the first floor has a similar window. A door located between Nos 11 and 12 provides access to a through passage, with another double hung sash window with glazing bars above it. Nos 12 and 13, which appear to be in one occupation, have a 19th-century shop front that includes timber mullions, a moulded cornice, and fascia, with a pair of slightly recessed doors. The first floor features one double hung sash window with glazing bars. No 14 has a door similar to that of No 11, but its fanlight has lost its glazing bars. There is one double hung sash window with glazing bars on the first floor, along with two similar windows.
