Description

No 582 Tadden is a building that likely dates from the early 17th century. It features timber-framed walls with brick infill and has been partly rebuilt in brick. The roof is thatched and includes a central brick stack with ornamental capping. The building is one storey high with attics and has an attached single-storey outbuilding to the south, which has weather-boarded walls and a thatched roof. The layout consists of a three-room lobby entrance plan, with a ledged door situated under a gabled hood. On the ground floor, there is one casement window with glazing bars and two metal casements. The attic contains two dormers with casements, which still show remnants of lead lights. Inside, the ground floor rooms feature chamfered ceiling beams.
