Description

No 603 is a 18th-century building located in Pamphill Chilbridge. It features plastered walls and a thatched roof with brick stacks. The structure is two storeys high and positioned at right angles to the road. At the east end, there is a single-storey timber lean-to with a corrugated iron roof, while the west end has a conservatory. The entrance includes a part-glazed door set within a timber gabled porch topped with a slate roof. On the ground floor, there are two casement windows with a centre bar and one fixed window with glazing bars. The first floor has three modern casement windows. Inside, the main ground floor room showcases chamfered ceiling beams. The building is also referenced in the Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of England as Monument 22.
