Description

No 580 in Pamphill, formerly two cottages, likely dates from the 18th century. The building features walls that are part brick and part plastered cob, topped with a thatched roof and a brick stack. It is one storey with attics. The main front elevation has four metal casement windows on the ground floor, while the attic includes three dormers with casements that have glazing bars. The entrance is located at the rear, featuring a ledged door in a gabled timber porch. There is a second entrance in a modern flat-roofed weather-boarded porch. On the ground floor, there is an additional metal casement window, and the attic has two dormers with casements. The building is recorded as RCHM Monument 15.
