Description
The Granary and Waggon-House, located 55 metres east-south-east of Compton House, dates from the mid-18th century. It features ashlar stone walls and a ripped Roman tile roof, and is two storeys tall. The building has six windows, which are two-light mullion windows with flat stone architraves. There are doorways at each end of the structure, each with architraves, a pulvinated frieze, and a cornice, leading to panelled doors. The central bay projects and is pedimented, containing two carriage entrances with three-centred heads, large imposts, and two-leaf plank doors.
