Description

This is a barn dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century, located adjoining the cottages to the southwest in Winfrith Newburgh. The barn features brick walls and originally had a tiled roof, although much of the tiling is now missing and the timber structure is in poor condition. It is a single storey with attics and has large openings with timber lintels in the north wall. The gable end facing the street displays a distinctive diaper pattern in the brickwork. Despite its poor condition, the barn remains listed and plans have been approved for its conversion into a house.
