Description

This is a mid-18th century shop, formerly known as Arrow Foodmarket and previously listed as the Co-operative Stores. It is located in the Market Place of Sturminster Newton. The building is constructed of colour-washed brick with a tiled roof, featuring stone slates to the eaves. It has two storeys and a four-window front. The ground floor has a shop front dating to the 19th century. The upper floor contains four sash windows with glazing bars, set within moulded frames and topped by segmental brick arches. A plat band runs horizontally between the two storeys.
