Description
A pair of cottages, likely dating from the 17th century, is situated in Stalbridge. They are built of whitewashed rubble with a thatched roof, featuring a gable end on the right. Brick and stone stacks are located at the end of each cottage. The cottages are two storeys high with a four-window front, featuring wooden casement windows, some with two or three lights and two panes per light. A five-light fixed window, possibly originally for a shop, is positioned on the right-hand side. All window and door openings are topped with wooden lintels. A passage leading to the rear of the cottages is situated on the left. A large external stack is present on the right.
