Description

East Creech Farm House is a detached farmhouse with origins dating back to the 17th century, which was enlarged to the east in the 18th century. The original section features plastered stone walls, a slate roof, and brick end stacks. The front wall has been raised and the building is two storeys high. It has a ledged door with a glass panel. On the ground floor, there are two casement windows with glazing bars set in earlier openings, which still show remains of stone mullions. The first floor also has two casement windows with glazing bars. The west gable wall includes a blocked two-light Gothic window, which may have been re-set, and a single-light window with lead lights. Inside, some ceiling beams are exposed.

The taller 18th-century wing on the east side has plastered brick walls, a tiled roof with stone eaves courses, and a brick end stack. This wing is also two storeys high and features a projecting two-storeyed wing at the front with a hipped tiled roof. The raised panel door is located under a flat hood. The ground floor has three double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, while the first floor has three similar windows and, in the projecting wing, one casement window with glazing bars. To the west of the wing, there is a triangular-headed window with glazing bars. The east gable wall contains six circular recesses with stone surrounds, which may be blocked windows.
