Description
The dovecote located 50 metres southeast of Compton House dates from the 18th century. It features round coursed and dressed stone walls, with an ashlar plinth moulding and a moulded cornice. The structure is topped with a conical slate roof and a weathervane. There are three stone oval or circular openings in the walls. The doorway on the east side has a moulded stone architrave and a plank door that is studded with a grille at the top, which is from the 19th century.
