Description
The Combe Monument, located 6 metres south of the chancel of the Church of St Mary, is an early 18th-century table-tomb made of grey stone. It features a bolection-moulded panel with round-headed ends, a moulded cornice, and a hipped top block. On the east end, there is a momento mori. The inscription commemorates Frances Combe, wife of Mr Brian Combe of Evershot parish, who died in December 1704.
