Description
Inpark Farmhouse is a detached farmhouse dating from the early to mid-18th century. It features a coursed stone plinth with a chamfered edge and red brick walls laid in Flemish bond, incorporating some burnt headers. The front corners are accentuated with rusticated stone quoins, while the front elevation is rendered. The roof is thatched with stone gable copings, and there are brick stacks at the gable ends, which were renewed in the 20th century.
The building has two storeys and attics, with three windows on the ground floor. These windows have square-section beaded stone mullions with architraves, which are original, arranged in configurations of four, two, and four lights. The first floor features three-light stone mullions of the same design. The windows are fitted with iron and 20th-century metal casements. Each gable end has one two-light attic window with square mullions.
At the centre of the front is a doorway with a moulded stone architrave, leading to a flush-panelled door that has two top lights. There is a 20th-century brick porch with a glazed upper half and a gabled Roman-tile roof, along with an outer 20th-century door. Additionally, there is a later rubble-stone outshut extending the full length of the rear wall, topped with a pentice slate roof from the 19th century.
