Description

This milestone, dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century, is located on the north side of the A354 in Winterborne Whitechurch. It is made of stone and features a triangular top with incised lettering. The inscription reads "Blandford 5 Dorchester 11". This milestone was erected by the Harnham, Blandford and Dorchester Trust, as noted in the Dorset Milestone Survey of 1980.
