Description
Manor Farm House is a detached farmhouse with origins dating back to the 17th century, which was enlarged in the 19th century. The building features brick walls and roofs that are partly tiled and partly slated, with brick stacks at both the ends and the center. It has a T-shaped plan and stands two storeys high with an attic. The original section of the house has a slate roof with coped gables. Both the ground and first floors have two double-hung segmental-headed sash windows with glazing bars. There is a stack at the junction of the two sections that has diagonal shafts. The later section features a tiled roof and includes a glazed door set in a trellised porch, with the same window arrangement as the original section. The attic contains one hipped dormer with casements. There is a rear wing from the early 19th century that has a slate roof, and a tiled-roofed verandah on the south side, which also has double-hung sash windows.
To the north of the house is a walled garden enclosed by cob walls topped with slate capping.
