Description

The tomb to Elizabeth Mary, Marchioness of Westminster, was built in 1891 and is located approximately 30 meters west of Motcombe Church. It features a pedestal with panelled sides adorned with carved swags and a coat of arms. Above the pedestal is an enriched cornice. An urn finial, which is said to have been removed for safety, once topped the structure. The cast-iron railings surrounding the tomb are made of elaborate scrollwork of high quality.
