Description
The tomb of Elizabeth Whalley is located in Highgate (Western) Cemetery and dates from the late 19th century. It features a tall rectangular plinth that supports a pedestal with chamfered angles, which has carved reliefs of inverted torches. On the sides of the pedestal, there are shallow round-arched niches that contain relief carvings of allegorical figures, topped by an enriched cornice. The structure is surmounted by a sculptured urn set on a stepped base.
