Description
The monument to Samuel Sanders Teulon, who died in 1873, is located in Highgate (Western) Cemetery. It features a stone ogive headstone topped with a quatrefoil terminal that includes mosaic and inlaid decoration in the form of circles and the sacred monogram. The monument also has a gabled grave slab with a cross. Teulon was a highly regarded church architect, known for his work on St Stephen's in Rosslyn Hill.
