Description

The Church of St Frideswide, located on Botley Road, was built in 1872 by architect S S Teulon. This church features a striking design in the Romanesque style, characterized by its plain detailing and stone construction. It is made of coursed rubble with ashlar dressings and includes a vestigial crossing tower. The church is considered a very good example of Teulon's architectural work.
