Description

The front wall, fence, gate, and piers of The Lodge, located on the north side of St Thomas' Street, date from the early 19th century. The structure features a rubble wall complemented by a cast-iron fence designed by the Dean of Abingdon. It includes cast-iron gates and piers that have moulded caps. This construction is likely from 1839, when it was built as a school.
