Description

The tomb of John Wells and family is located in Highgate (Western) Cemetery and dates from the late 19th century. It features a rectangular stone plinth that is inscribed with the words "The family grave of John Wells of Hampstead Road." Atop the plinth is a pedestal adorned with a relief carving depicting a mourning woman leaning on an urn.
