Description

The tomb of Sarah Godbee and her family is located in Highgate (Western) Cemetery and dates from the late 19th century. It features a brick base topped by a stone pedestal that supports a sculptured seated female figure. The figure is dressed in Classical robes, with her head bowed on her left hand, which holds a wreath, while her right hand holds an inverted torch. The pedestal is tall and stepped, with inscriptions.
