Description

Dullar Farm House is an 18th-century detached farmhouse, with later 19th-century remodelling and enlargement. The house is constructed of brick walls with a tiled roof, featuring a coped gable at the south-east end which has diaper patterning using burnt brick headers. It has brick end and centre stacks. The original section of the house has an ironstone plinth and a plat band at first-floor level. A 19th-century brick porch with a gabled tiled roof and a ledged door fronts the house. On the ground floor, there are three casement windows with glazing bars; the first floor has five similar windows. A 19th-century brick extension is located at the west end, also of two storeys but at a lower level, with brick walls and a tiled roof. It features one casement window with glazing bars on each floor. A 20th-century two-storeyed rear wing of similar construction has been added. Internally, some exposed ceiling beams remain on the ground floor.
