Description
The steps, balustrading, and pedestals leading to Charborough Tower were built in the mid-19th century. They consist of two flights of stone steps featuring pierced traceried balustrading and square plastered piers topped with moulded caps. To the north-west of these steps, there are three pairs of similar but detached piers. This structure was designed as a formal approach to the Tower from the terrace at the rear of the House.
