Description
The steps and gate piers at the southeast end of the terrace at the rear of the house date from around 1810. They consist of a pair of rectangular plastered gate piers featuring recessed panels and moulded caps that support urns. Simple iron gates complete the structure, which is designed to frame the view of the Tower.
