Description

This is an early 17th-century detached farmhouse, altered subsequently. It has rubble stone walls, a slate roof with gables, and brick end stacks. The farmhouse is two storeys high. The doorway has been altered, featuring a plain lintel and a raised panel door. On the ground floor are two three-light stone mullioned windows with hoodmoulds. The first floor has three casement windows with horizontal glazing bars. A small recess with a straight-sided arch is located at the right-hand end. At the rear is a 20th-century single-storey extension, built with colourwashed brick walls and a tiled roof. The property is noted in the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments and referenced in R. Machin's "The Houses of Yetminster" published by the University of Bristol in 1978.
