Description
Nos 1 and 2 Church Green are probably 18th century buildings that have been altered. They are rendered with a pitched slate roof that is hipped at the west end and feature brown brick stacks. The buildings are two storeys high, with No 2 having attics. No 1 has two ranges of modern casements set in original segment-headed openings. No 2 has two segment-headed casements with glazing bars on the first floor and two segment-headed sashes with glazing bars on the ground floor. The entrance to No 1 features a modern door with a flat hood supported by cut brackets, while No 2 has neo-Georgian stable doors topped with a 19th-century gabled hood. All the listed buildings in Church Green form a group.
