Description

The Kendal monument is a chest tomb located about 1 metre south of the tower of the Church of St Brevita in Lanlivery. It dates from the late 17th century to the early 18th century and is made of granite with a slatestone lid. The flat lid features a chamfered edge, while the chest has a moulded top and a moulded plinth. On the top of the tomb, there is a Kendal coat of arms set in a diamond within an oval sunken panel.
