Range Of Farm Buildings Attached To Right Of Gusti Vean Farmhouse

The range of farm buildings attached to the right of Gusti Vean Farmhouse is a Grade II listed structure, dated VR and AR 1857, with few later alterations. The buildings are constructed from elvan and slatestone rubble, featuring brick and stone dressings, and are topped with slate roofs that have ridge tiles and gable ends.

These farm buildings form a U-plan around a farmyard, with an entrance that includes gate piers. The main range is a two-storey L-plan with five openings on the first floor, all featuring cambered brick arches. The ground floor has a door and two windows to the left, and a window and two doors to the right, all with cambered stone arches. There is a door at the far left with a brick arch and a datestone set at ground floor level, which is recessed and displays raised initials and a crown. The front wing to the left has a hipped roof, with a door and a window on both the ground and first floors, all having brick arches.

To the front left, there is a single-storey range with a central door that has a cambered stone arch, flanked by 6-pane lights to the right and left, both with cambered brick arches. On the right side, there is another single-storey range with alternating doors and windows, all featuring brick arches. A straight joint connects to the end range, which has a door that returns to the right to enclose the yard, along with a further single-storey range that includes two doors.

At the entrance to the yard, there is a pair of square stone gate piers, with one attached to the front gable end of the farmhouse. The interior has not been inspected.
