Description

This is a horse trough set in a grotto niche located on the east side of the estate yard at Prideaux Place in Padstow. It dates from the early 19th century. The trough is made of granite and has a rectangular shape. The grotto niche is built from large boulders and features a central round arched opening. The horse trough is positioned within this niche.
