Description
The footbridge, built in the early 19th century, is located over a public road to the northeast of Prideaux Place in Padstow. Constructed from stone rubble, the bridge connects a raised terrace known as the Colonel's Walk. It features a 4-centred arched opening made of dressed stone, with stone rubble parapets that rise and are pointed above the apex of the arch. This footbridge is part of a group with the mock fortifications to the east of Prideaux Place, which were built before 1758 and extended in the early 19th century.
